Dig into a variety of classic jazz and cultural crossover music with Dallas-based musicians Jeff Shadley and Ronna Jensen joined by eminently talented long-time collaborators and friends. In the first set, this show will rejuvenate the Tulsa jazz vibe as each member of this singular group showcases their distinctive contribution to the Tulsa sound. The second set will infuse new music from a nascent jazz project called "One Giant Leap" referring to the Apollo missions of the late 1960s and early 1970s that landed mankind on the moon - a story told from the perspective of Mr. Shadley who as a child experienced the events alongside his father; a NASA engineer.
The group includes Jeff Shadley, Ronna Jensen, Annie Ellicott, Tommy Poole, Brad Henderson, Dean Demerritt, and Jared (JJ) Johnson.
