After a long year of writing music for short films; teaching and traveling to various parts of the country, Edwin Canito Garcia will present compositions for his newly inspired project and dedication to the life of Dominick Stephens, entitled “The 86th DJ” on Thursday, February 8 at LowDown. The 86th DJ is a collection of compositions that include many facets and genres of music mixed with lush harmonies of neo-soul and jazz.
The quartet consists of Edwin Garcia (bass), Nick Mancini (vibraphone and synthesizers), Willie Peterson (drums), and Clayton Roffey (guitar).
Doors open at 6 p.m. | Show starts at 7 p.m.
