Devre Jackson sings classic jazz, blues & soul with the Chuck Fluker trio for a fantastic show at Lowdown on Thursday, September 19.

The show will feature Devre Jackson (vocals), Chuck Fluker (guitarist), Ben Cassody (bass), and John D'ova (drums).

ABOUT THE BAND

Devre Jackson: Also known around town as Mr. D', the singing wine steward; brings his version of classic jazz & soul standards to the stage. Originally from Los Angeles, he has been singing around Tulsa since 2005.

Chuck Fluker: A New York guitarist, singer/ songwriter; performing in the Tulsa area since 2004. He’s the guitarist for the Neo Swing group called The Zuits and band leader for his own Neo Soul group Salty Grits.

John D'ova is a Tulsa freelance drummer who over the years has played with various groups and singers including: Tim Shadley, Rebecca Ungerman, Scott McQuade, and many others.

Ben Cassody is a local Tulsa bass player playing with groups such as Generations Jazz Quintet, Casa Nova, and Gitans Solitaires. Currently, Ben is playing at the Tulsa PAC in Waitress the Musical and has local residencies at Cabin Boys breweries, Coffee House on Cherry Street, and others.

Doors open at 6 p.m. | Show starts at 7 p.m.
