"Music for the Senses" is an evening-length musical composition by David Alan Broome that explores the overlap between artistry and machine learning. Original music is presented through sound, and then analyzed and interpreted into language and movement. The outcome is a new type of musical science theater that embraces broad definitions of music, text, and choreography. This project was supported by the Artists Creative Fund.
The show features David Alan Broome (keyboards/electronics), Aaron Bean (technologist), Annie Ellicott (vocals), Sandie Busby (sign language interpreter), Kiersten Moser (violin), Corbin Bodley (violin), Ethan Landis (viola), and Matt Magerkurth (cello).
