Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band are stopping at LowDown on their Kings Highway Tour on Friday, September 6.
The band will feature Brian Blade (drums), Jon Cowherd (piano), Melvin Butler (tenor and soprano saxophone), Myron Walden (alto saxophone and bass clarinet), Roland Guerin (bass), and Kurt Rosenwinkel (guitar).

In 1997, drummer and composer Brian Blade formed The Fellowship Band with pianist and composer Jon Cowherd. Over the 26 years that the band has existed, they have released seven recordings. Their debut, "Fellowship" in 1998, "Perceptual" in 2000, "Season of Changes" in 2008, "Landmarks" in 2014, "Body and Shadow" in 2017, "Live From the Archives" in 2022, and "Kings Highway" in 2023.
